turn it in

Have you guys ever heard of the program "Turn It In" (I think that's what it is called...)? It's this program that professors can download students' papers into and it will scan the entire paper and figure out how much of it has been copied from sites online AND which sites it is taken from. Crazy cool right?! Roger was showing this to Ike and I tonight. One of his students just turned in a paper with over 72% of it being literally stolen from online sources - didn't even quote them! Needless to say, that kid got a big fat F.

Tonight was all about homemade pizza s'mores brownies! But first, a shortbread cookie from Roger - thanks for sharing!



And a few sips of delicious beers stolen from Ike and Maddie.





Then it was time to make pizza! A delicious Hawaiian and veggie (eggplant, tomato, leek and red pepper).





And dessert - s'mores brownies, made with the perfect brownie recipe - seriously, that's what it is called!  Nancy knows what I'm talking about! One small piece was perfect, they were so rich - but I am not going to lie - I went back for another. (Oh, and pretty sure Maddie and I sampled plenty of the brownie batter with grahm crackers and marshmallows, just to make sure it tasted good.)





A few sips of wine rounded out the evening.





Mom and Roger showed us photos from their recent trip to India and Singapore - so jealous of all their traveling!  They are headed to Brazil on Friday!

Apparently we might be headed to Spain or the south of France for Christmas this year!!! How cool would that be? :)
