We have returned from our HOT honeymoon in Branson, MO, finally! We really did have a good time, it was just HOT. Literally, it was over 100 degrees every day. I (Kier) am not a happy camper when I am hot, but we managed to survive by breaking up our days in our 60 degree condo napping. With such a perfect wedding only a few days behind us, we didn't expect to have a perfect honeymoon too...and we didn't. After pumping up a huge air mattress from the car our fist and only night of camping, we killed the battery. No biggie, some nice man with jumper cables helped us out. Then, 15 miles outside of Branson the car started struggling, and smoking, and the air conditioner went out (remember, it is over 100 degrees.). Crap. Long story short, we ended up having a loaner car for 4 days and spending close to $500 fixing the car. What better timing too...now Nic has to help pay for repairs.
Besides being hot, we were able to enjoy two shows, boating, fishing, hiking, mini golf, eating, sleeping and shopping, among other things. We are now glad to be back at work, catching up.
