During March Madness this year, Wilson Sporting Goods company and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) are making it easy for people to enjoy basketball and support the fight against cancer. They have developed an “Every Pass Counts: Ultimate Assist” application on Facebook, in which for every pass a user sends to a friend, Wilson will donate 10 cents to Coaches vs. Cancer®, a joint collaboration of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society. Additionally, the user who makes the most passes will receive $1,000 in Wilson Sporting Goods equipment.
The passing application began on March 10 and runs through the NCAA Championship games, ending April 6. The goal is to reach 500,000 virtual passes, which would result in $50,000 for the Society.
To download the application on your Facebook page, visit the Wilson Sporting Goods page on Facebook.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities and advocacy programs. Coaches vs. Cancer provides critical mission outreach, while raising funds in support of the Society’s lifesaving efforts. Since 1993, high school and college coaches from across the country have raised more than $50 million to support the American Cancer Society’s fight to save lives from cancer.
