4th of july fun

I love long weekends. This week, thanks to being 'laid off' today, I get to enjoy 4 days of freedom from work. (HA! I am working as I type this, I can not stop working. That is the downside of working from home, I work all the time. Hold on, a volunteer is calling me right now....OKAY, I'm back! It actually wasn't a volunteer, it was the Breast Cancer Society asking me for money. "I work for the ACS, so I help patients everyday." "But ma'am, we here at the Breast Cancer Society actually help people face to face, we help them financially, we get them on their road to recovery." "No thanks, really - we do the same thing at ACS, and help in even more ways. PS - Road to Recovery? That is one of our programs.")

Alright...so I LOVE long weekends! And this weekend, Marissa and Jackson are visiting!! We didn't know this until early this week, so they are totally messing with my plans, but that's okay. lol Guess they will just have to help paint the bathroom! Hopefully we will have so much fun that Jackson knows Nic and I as his favorite uncle and aunt...in the Midwest. I don't think we can compete with Aunty Kajsa! But, I will try! Chocolate milk with tons of chocolate, juice not diluted with water, all the cheese crackers Jackson's little heart desires...oh yeah, this kid is going to LOVE me! Oh and, I am totally taking them to a huge parade on Saturday morning, which means candy, lots and lots of candy!

And the best thing about them visiting, after they leave, I am pretty sure I won't want kids for another 5 years! So that makes me about 40 when Nic and I even think about having kids!! Gotta love it!
