crock-pot turkey - UPDATED

So I am cooking a whole turkey in the crock-pot today... One 10 pound turkey, one packet Italian seasoning, one packet roasted red pepper seasoning and one bottle of 312 beer. I have been in my Burlington office all day, so I have no idea if it will be done when I get home. Here's hoping!

Update! Crock-pot turkey = SUCCESS! Yum, it was so delicious. Thank goodness, as Nic and I have been eating turkey sandwiches for days now. Imagine freeing up the oven on Thanksgiving in order to make other tasty treats by cooking the turkey in the crock-pot. The only thing I'd caution on, don't freak out that your turkey is too big for your crock-pot and won't cook in the 10 hours you'd planned on; I had Nic turn the crock-pot on to high during the noon hour which may have dried out the turkey just a bit.
