ice storm

What a day we are having in SE Iowa!  It has been raining/sleeting since late last night, which is causing quite a few problems.  I walked outside to get the mail and had to step in a puddle of water/ice 4 inches deep.  I snapped a few photos of our little tree and said a few prayers for its survival - I am just waiting for it to snap.  The trees are making an eerie sound as their ice covered branches are straining in the wind.  Hey - at least we still have power...for the moment.
