But I first just have to post my splits from this morning's 10-miler! Nic and I finally rolled out of bed early enough to meet up with the running club. He rode with one guy and I ran with a few others. I had a goal of 12 miles in mind, but was going to leave it up to my body to determine how far I would go. Very happy with the 10 miles I got in.
Stats:
mile 1 - 8:38
mile 2 - 7:33
mile 3 - 7:54
mile 4 - 8:26
mile 5 - 8:09
mile 6 - 7:59
mile 7 - 7:56
mile 8 - 8:08
mile 9 - 8:17
mile 10 - 8:08
total time - 1:21:14
average pace - 8:08 minute mile
Wow - guess running with some other "high-caliber" runners really helps! Check out those FOUR sub 8 minute miles! :) Let's hope I can recover from this run in time to run the Fargo half next Saturday!!
Note - I do not claim to be a high caliber runner, in fact I know I am not. Apparently the guy who Nic rode with thinks I am though...and you know what? I'll let him keep on thinking that! :)
Later today...and awesome recipe and an exciting race recap from Saturday's Knight Flight 5K.
that was the most disappointing blog post ever...I read exciting news in the title and then I don't get any exciting news!!!??? Unfollow.
