cashew butter

Have you jumped on the nut butter train yet? Did you know there are other nut butters out there besides peanut butter?

We tried almond butter a few months ago and loved it, but didn't love the price so much. So tonight, I tried my hand at making cashew butter.

A bag of fire roasted cashews ($3.99) went into the blender with a pinch of sea salt.

And I spent about 10 minutes pulverizing the heck out of the cashews.

In the end, I got about a cup of cashew butter that tastes great!  Sure, it took some time, but it is way cheaper than buying it!

Next time I might try something like this Nuttzo PF brand.
