A chilly candle lit date on the porch
Inspiration struck for a romantic late night dinner on the porch while running errands. At home a table was rigged up from our recycling bin and old board, lights were strung from the cable wire, and candles lit. Chowder bubbled on the stove, and salad thrown together while quiet music filled the house. Home from the brewery, Nic changed, ready for a night out. The destination closer than expected - a candle lit dinner on the porch, a beautifully quiet end to the day.
This looks so cozy! I'm trying to resolve not to let the cold keep me indoors this year. This is a great first step.
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun to bundle up and eat soup outside! Although, by the end of dinner, we were excited to take what was rest of the bottle of wine and finish it up inside.
